Apart from the commitment of time, it will not cost you anything to make an initial enquiry into the services I can offer. From my part, I am happy to offer a ‘no obligation’ 15 minute phone or zoom call to discuss your current circumstances. I am available to facilitate this at the time that suits you best, daytime, evenings and even weekends! If you feel that you would benefit from a face to face meeting, then no problem, however this will cost a little extra, unless we are able to meet at a mutually convenient address. Clients are welcome to come to my home office, and we can tackle the issues together over a warm brew.
If you think I can help, I will then set out the fee scale and ask you to provide in writing all the information that I will need to carry out your instructions. At this stage I will send you my Terms of Business to agree and sign.
Affiliations
Having worked in this industry for more than 20 years, I am well aware that some clients may have an inertia towards using a law firm, given that they operate within a more regulated landscape. I do act as a consultant for multiple law firms and can therefore undertake work under their legal framework and PI cover, however the charges will then be in accordance with the rates applicable to that law firm. The beauty of this relationship is that it allows me to undertake work that is treated as a ‘Reserved Legal Activity’ under the supervision of a registered Solicitor.
Who is my audience
Anyone from the age of 18 and over.
If you have assets that you wish to protect from third party threats such as HMRC (to include IHT/CGT mitigation)/Creditors, re-marriages, divorce, if you are single, co-habiting, married, in a civil partnership, have children, are part of a blended family, have grandchildren, dependents, the elderly, then there may well be a service that is right for you.

Services
It’s true that everyone’s circumstances are unique and individual to them. Therefore, there is no such thing as one size fits all and on that basis my pricing will be tailored to the work that I need to undertake. That said, quite a few of the services I offer such as Wills and LPAs can be offered at a fixed price if the scenario is simple and straightforward. Where Wills are to include any form of trusts then the drafting and advising will inevitably take longer and the fee structure will reflect this. When making an enquiry I will be happy to supply you with my current pricing structure & if you choose to go ahead with multiple services such as Wills & LPAs then I will happily facilitate a discount in the region of 10-20%. Wherever possible, I will be as transparent as I can in regards to the price of my services so there are no nasty surprises at the end.

Lasting Power of Attorney
I advise individuals and families on putting in place suitable Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) – documents that appoint trusted people to make decisions should you lose capacity or if you prefer to have support in managing your affairs. My aim is to give you and those close to you confidence that your interests will be protected, whatever the future brings.
